That's exactly how it works, with the next version of aMPdroid (0.8) you would be able to wake up your HTPC from S3 just with the app. However, I have one question for DieBagger:

When does the app send the WOL packet to the HTPC? With SVN version I can see that the WOL dialog pop-up's when clicking in Media and Music tabs if the PC is not awake, but I don't think that this is the best option. It would be better if the HTPC woke up just when selecting the client, don't you think so? Thanks for all ;)
Hi Thundercats. Sorry, but I think that this shouldn't be implemented as it is an odd behavior of the info button when using a remote control. If you use a keyboard and you double press "y", Mediaportal will simply show and hide the OSD. For poping-up the menu you are talking about you can press the "menu" button of your remote control or press F9 if using the keyboard, so I don't see the need of implementing this in aMPdroid. Just my 2 cents.
