That is something that I wanted to have from the beginning, unfortunately it requires a completely new componant (a tray application).

It'll definately be implemented at some point.

 This should already work, make sure you have the latest version of tv4home installed.

I don't agree on that, but in any way the best solution is to make the short-click action configurable...

that was just meant as a replacement for a details view as I didn't have time to create one for shares view...

It was supposed to be the "change clients" button. However it will probably be replaced for another action that is frequently used...

Any suggestions? ;)
