It would be great if you could add the possibility to change between shares-videos-series-movies in Media (and also in Music) using left-right swype gestures. I know that you probably don't need it, but here you have a link to see how gestures can be implemented:

It sometimes happens, that I lose the connection to the MediaPortal client, e.g. because the WiFi temporarely went away. When that happens I always have to go all the way back to the connect screen and hit "connect" again. It would be nice if the reconnect either automatically happens the next time you try to issue a command, or if you can initiate the reconnect by hitting the MediaPortal mascot in the lower right (which indicates the connection status anyhow).

Add actions to the now-playing screen.
- Continue playback on device
- Download current video to device
- Show info
- Show subtitles
- etc.

If you press the play-button on the cover of a series, then MP automatically plays the newest episode.

You could use a long click on the cover or something.

I don't want to wait for all seasons and episodes just to watch the next one.

Add support for trakt.tv scrobbling. Not only does this provide a complete solution for MediaPortal users and aMPdroid users...but will also promote your app on their site and bring others to use it.

It would be perfect to have also the Photo-Section also available on aMPdroid.

Since these controls (Volume, Prev, Pause, Next) are tied to anything that is currently playing anyway, I think it would be a good idea to move these controls to the "Now Playing" screen in order to save space in the UI. I don't think anyone needs to have access to these controls at all times while browsing through the Media Library etc.? And the "Now Playing" screen is accessible by pulling it up at any time anyway.

Originally I wanted to suggest this for QVGA devices only, since the space is very, very limited there, but it could be interesting for other devices as well.

When accessing the EPG aMPdroid always loads the "all channels" group which can take long time depending on the number of channels. Many users however have their individual sorting in channel groups. So it would be time saving to load another channel group by default (should be configurable).
