No thumbnails after clear cache

After selecting Clear cache, the thumbnails on my phone are gone obviously.

However I'm unable to get them back. Even reinstalling the does not bring back the album thumbnails.

Maybe I'm missing something ;-)

After updating the complete music database instead of only searching for new/changed files it all magically works again.
